The 9060 is a new expression of the 99X series' refined elegance and innovative design, which has produced some of New Balance's most iconic shoes. The 9060 reinterprets familiar features from previous 99X models with a twisted sensibility inspired by the aggressively futuristic, visible tech design of the Y2K period. Sway bars from the 990 are extended and used across the top to create a sensation of visible motion, while wavy lines and scaled-up proportions on a sculpted pod midsole highlight the familiar cushioning platforms of ABZORB and SBS.
